How to give an Intellectual speech?

In the previous post we learned about the effective communication by using words that are at right level of technical knowledge of the people or readers or audience. But need to try to concentrate on the intellectual needs of the audience and take their personal needs and emotional needs as individuals and take them into consideration for better communication. If we choose the right words that are intruding into their lives we can get them on our side otherwise they will keep deaf and don’t listen to the words that whatever we say.

First the speech should begin with the informal words like greeting words that are hello, good morning, hi! etc. which makes an effective addressing of the people. But we have to use these words according to the level we are close to that person. If we are very close to that person then it would be better to greet him with Hi! Or otherwise wish with good morning or hello. This usage of greeting linked with two factors like how well we know that person and personal experience and choice. We have to be formal with unknown persons and informal with those people with whom we are familiar.

We need to use the informal language with the people whom you know very well but with little care. Some words are considered unacceptable in good society and they are known as taboo words. The people of this group change with time. When people are embarrassed by a subject or the words needed to talk about it, they use more polite or less offensive words which is called as euphemism. The special informal vocabulary of particular group is called as slang. Special use of technical words by a group of experts in particular subjects is called as jargon. If we speak remembering the above mentioned groups of people in our mind them we will surely become a good communicator.
